Last week kicked off the Australian Title Fight tourwith Touche Amore and Break Even. The first show in the tour was at the Old Museum in Brisbane on the 8.9.11 and was a crazy show with a few ups and downs.

The show was opened by Brisbane locals Headaches, who warmed up the crowed for the Australian tour partners Break Even.

Break Even played a tight set featuring some of their new songs including Hells Gates and most of their loved songs from their debut album The Brightside. If you guys haven’t listened to them before you should go check them out at http://www.myspace.com/breakevenhc

Next up were Californian band Touche Amore. Now for me personally this was one of the best days of my life as they are one of my top ten bands. These guys have put out a demo a few splits and their debut album to the Beat of a Dead Horse. Anyone that hasn’t listened to that Album doesn’t know what they are missing out on.

Recently Touche Amore released their second full length “Parting the sea between Brightness and Me.” and had a limited tour edition for this Australian leg.

With a few member changes since To the Beat of a Dead Horse this new record is faster and more energetic than the last but continues the profound lyrics of its predecessor making it a must have for any collection.

The show was everything that i expected and I couldn’t stop grinning that night. Despite this it had already become apparent that there was some friction in the room between the bands audience and the Venue.

Last but by far not the least were the headlining band Title Fight! These guys have become the talk of the town, if by the town, i mean most of the world.

Its not hard to understand why, they are young and full of fun and keep us captivated with catchy songs an energetic show full of punk Jumps.

Title Fight recently followed up their popular 7” “The last Thing you forget” with their highly anticipated debut full length “Shed”

After an amazing show, everything ended on a bit of a sour note with a dispute between some Venue/security staff and one of the roadies.

On the last song everyone started jumping off the stage in true Fitle Fight form until the power got cut and lights got turned on.

Ben the drummer from Title Fight kept playing harder and louder while the rest of the audience was ushered out of what might be the last show at the Old Museum.

Despite the turbulent ending to the night I would still say it was a great success and a night i wont soon forget.
Thank you to everyone who came out and supported these great bands and Brisbane Hardcore

Allan has composed a sampler promoting some of Brisbanes established as well as up and coming bands. If you want to listen to some good music definitely check it out as i highly recomend it! http://www.mediafire.com/?q3ew9nb5o7qrdb8
